Givenchy Haute Couture Spring 2011

Ieri ho perso tanto tempo, oggi non sono dell'umore per scrivere. Ma devo pur utilizzare il mio tempo davanti al computer produttivamente altrimenti potrei rischiare di ricadere nella violenta dipendenza che continuo a combattere cercando di utilizzare il computer non più di tre ore al giorno. Già.
Riccardo Tisci ha creato una collezione veramente meravigliosa per la sfilata Haute Couture di ieri. Givenchy non mi ha mai fatto impazzire ma questa collezione è brillante. Ispirandosi al Giappone, Tisci ha vestito una serie di modelle asiatiche in vestiti svolazzanti dai colori stupendi sul cui retro sono cucite, l'ho letto perchè da solo non sarei stato capace di riconoscerle, delle ali con colori più accesi. Sono tremendamente affascinato dall'armonia ed eleganza che hanno questi vestiti. Danno l'idea di leggerezza e decisamente colpisce il contrasto su alcuni dei capi con i grandi cappelli da robot dei vecchi manga. Sono sicuro che la mia amica Marilù, appassionata per il Giappone, potrebbe esaltarsi alla vista di quei caschi. Doppio pollice in su per Givenchy!

Yesterday i've wasted so much time, today i'm not in the mood for blogging. But sure i have to spend my computer time productively otherwise i could fall back in the heavy addiction for it i'm still fighting trying to use the computer not more than three hours a day. Yeah.
Riccardo Tisci created a definitely gorgeous collection for yesterday's Haute Couture catwalk. I didn't really like Givenchy before but this collection is just brilliant. Inspired by Japan, Tisci dressed a group of asian models in aflutter dresses, of which i just love the colors, and that present whigs on the back sewn in brighter colors (i had to read that because i wouldn't be able to recognize them by myself). I'm so fascinated by the armony and the elegance of this dresses. They show lightness e definitely the big old-school manga robot hats make a good contrast with some of the dresses. I'm sure that my friend Marilù, big Japan lover, could get excited at the sight of those elmets. Double thumbs up for Givenchy!

Armani Privè

Stasera ero alla ricerca di qualcosa di interessante di cui parlarvi visto che la settimana della moda Haute Couture parigina è appena iniziata e dopo una lunga ricerca sono rimasto incantato dalla spettacolare collezione Haute Couture di Armani Privè. Il tema stellare mi ha davvero colpito. In tutta la collezione c'è una asimmetria perfetta e le forme particolari delle giacche e dei cappelli, i colori e i tessuti utilizzati mi hanno lasciato senza parole. Ho letto che molti ritengono che Giorgio Armani si sia ispirato alla creatività di Lady Gaga per questa collezione. Certo se pensiamo alle giacche con le spalline e alle maschere simili a delle gabbie luccicanti abbinate ai ricchi vestiti fatti di pietre colorate che ricordano tanto una Lady Gaga alle prime armi o i suoi vestiti scultura... ma molto vagamente. Per il resto non riesco a vedere granchè della pop star nei capi. Più che altro vedo un meraviglioso abbinamento tra forme asimmetriche retrò che a mio parere ricordano gli anni ottanta, come quelle dei cappelli o delle giacche, ad un futurismo ispirato dalle bellezze dello spazio. Dategli un'occhiata.

Tonight i was searching for something interesting to talk about since the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week has just began and after a long research i've been spellbound by the Armani Privè's spectacular collection. The stellar theme really impressed me. In all the collection there's a perfect asymmetry and the particular forms of the jackets, of the hats, the colours and the fabrics used really left me speechless. I read that so many bloggers believe that Giorgio Armani has been inspired by Lady Gaga's creativity for this collection. Sure if we look at the jackets with shoulder pads or the masks really similar to some glittering cages combined with the rich dresses made of coloured stones, which reminds me of a rising Lady Gaga or of her sculputure-dresses... but really vaguely. For the rest i just can't see anything gagaesque in these clothes. I just see an amazing combination of retro asymmetric forms that, in my opinion, reminds me of the 80's, such as for the hats or the jackets, with a futurism inspired by the beauty of the space.
