Johnny's Bird

Dunque, oggi stavo curiosando tra alcuni blog che usualmente visito e casualmente sono finito su uno chiamato Johnny's Bird. Nome curioso. La sua creatrice è una fotografa inglese, Moni Haworth. Nella pagina numerosi servizi fotografici a metà strada tra lo street style e lo stile di Cobra Snake che mostrano ragazze e ragazze dall'aspetto sciupato e trasgressivo in pose stravaganti (senza risparmiare nudi e semi-nudi erotici) vestite di numerosi pezzi vintage. Dunque, non sono un grande fan dei blog che inneggiano al vintage come stile di vita, a volte i risultati, sono senza offesa, un tantino ridicoli. E' una mania che da molto tempo sta trasformando in particolare ragazzine dai tredici anni in su in spaventa passeri ambulanti, almeno dove vivo io. Però questo blog ha davvero colto la mia attenzione. Lasciando stare ambientazioni e tematiche che poche volte incontrano i miei gusti, la quantità assurdamente abbondante e la ricercatezza dei vestiti proposti lo rende uno dei migliori tra quelli nascenti del suo genere ultimamente. La fotografa Moni, che qualche volta appare nelle sue stesse foto, deve avere una enorme collezione da invidiare. E anche degli amici molto fighi. So, i was browsing around on some of the blogs i usually visit and casually i've ended up on one called Johnny's Bird. Curious name. The creator is an English photographer named Moni Haworth. The main page displays so many shootings, halfway between street style and Cobra Snake, portraiting worn and edgy looking girls in extravagant poses (there's space even for some nudes and semi-nudes) dressed in so many vintage pieces. Well, i'm not a big fan of blogs that celebrate vintage as a life style, sometimes they look, no offense in that, a little bit ridicolous. It's a sort of fever that for such a long time turns particularly girls of thirteen years old to go in ambulant scarecrows, or at least where i live. But this one really catched my attention. Place settings and themes that rarely coincide with my taste apart, the ridicolous amount of the clothes pictured makes this blog one of the best in the on-the-rise blog list of its kind lately. Moni, the photographer, who a few times appears in some of her pictures, must have a great collection of clothes to envy. And a crew of cool friends too.
